Criteria for Inclusion

We strive to be as inclusive as possible. Our database includes groups that meet the following criteria: a) They are registered with the IRS as a charity dedicated to “animal protection and welfare”; and b) that also have had pets available for adoption on PetFinder (which powers our pet locator).

We have not vetted these groups beyond that. Be sure to do your own research before donating to a group.
